Paper Industry FYI:

Back Tender: A Back Tender is involved in the production of paper at a mill. Their work involves the drying, calendaring, slitting, and rewinding of the paper. In essence, they use machinery to dry and finish the paper. The paper is then inspected to assure that it is wound properly onto huge rolls.

ZDT: The ZDT is a measure of the internal fiber bond strength of paper, paperboard, liner board, and coated fine papers.

Beater Room: The Beater Room houses the beater which is a machine that produces paper pulp from recycled fibers.
