Schedule: Mon-Fri 5:30am to 3:30pm
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for setting up machinery to recut tubes and cores.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Set up Automatic, Paco, Eberle, and Coretech recutting machines in a timely and accurate manner
- Inspect quality of product
- Check quality on every order, fill out quality sheets, initial top of every order – with help of Recutting Supervisor
- Complete necessary paperwork
- Keep area around machine and all equipment clean and properly maintained
- Operate recutting equipment as needed to produce product according to order specifications
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Less than high school education with 1 to 3 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time, salaried position with a variable schedule based on operational needs. The superintendent will be on call 24/7 and participate in rotating weekend coverage with the management team. The role requires extended periods of walking and standing in an industrial setting with exposure to heat, humidity, noise, and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as necessary. Occasional travel may be required for training or industry events.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance if required.
