Salary Range: $26.00 To $30.00 Hourly

GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Responsible for the necessary functions to maintain all aspects of the plant, including electrical, maintenance, repairing, and installing all equipment. MUST HAVE STRONG ELECTRICAL SKILLS
ONLY CANDIDATES WITH INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE AND AN ELECTRICAL BACKGROUND WILL BE CONSIDERED.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Complete electrical wiring and maintenance work throughout the plant.
- Troubleshoot motors, MCC’s, AC/DC electrical circuits, and test fuses, wiring, and motors.
- Experience with HMIs or PLCs is desired but not required.
- Troubleshoot and rebuild gearboxes, pumps, and other rotational units.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and forklifts.
- Make visual assessments of lubrication and equipment conditions.
- Modify and install new equipment, as needed.
Due to limited supervision, it is expected that the Maintenance department perform their assigned duties with minimal direction, keep track of hours worked on a particular assignment, complete all paperwork, and leave the work area cleaned up better than what was found.

Skills and Abilities Required: This position requires a high level of professionalism always while maintaining a collegial and effective relationship with employees and managers at all levels.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED preferred; or 3-5 years relevant experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance if required.
