IT Help Desk Engineer

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The IT Help Desk Engineer will work independently and serve as the primary contact for providing technical support for end users at all Ox locations across various states.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer calls and emails in an effort to support employee technology related questions
  • Manage all incoming support requests in Ox Ticketing System
    • Phone calls, Emails, Chats
  • Provide end-user support for all software applications:
    • Sage 100, Business Central Dynamics, Panther Systems, Office Application and others
  • Install and configure all company computers and printers
  • Assist end users with mobile device setup
  • Knowledge of VOIP systems
    • Liaison with vendor as needed
  • Will help to¬†build/maintain Knowledge base and end user Wiki
  • Ability to support Office 365
  • General understanding of current network and server schemes
    • Vmware, Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, File Sharing
  • Travel to remote locations for technical support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred, but technical certification(s) or relevant experience will be considered.
